Sit with it.

In my self-portrait trilogy, “Sit with it”, the central image vividly captures a moment of intense emotion— my scream etched in stark charcoal lines, while my eyes blur upwards. This composition symbolizes the overpowering nature of discomfort, encapsulating emotions like loss, grief, sadness, and rage. Flanking this central depiction are split images, each presenting a dual perspective. On either side, my eyes remain clear, emphasizing the delicate equilibrium between confronting and evading these uncomfortable feelings.
